I'm Tracy and I'm a Signed, Sealed, Delivered Addict!

Firstly,  I have totally been neglecting my blog and I cannot believe that my last post was November!  What?  OMG - I need to get busy on new home projects and post some stuff.  Sorry about that.

That being said, I am here to absolutely GUSH about my favorite show on television right now.... The Hallmark series, Signed, Sealed, Delivered.  Are you watching?  I hope that you are, and if not, I am here to add love, laughter and inspiration to your life!

The series is unlike anything else on TV.  It is about four people who work in the Dead Letter Office of the United States Post Office.  We've all had that letter or postcard that has been "lost in the mail", well, it may actually be in the hands of the Postables.  The Postables is a self-imposed name they gave themselves when they realized they are basically post office superheroes.  And, hence, anyone obsessed with this show, and there are a lot of us, are called POstables.  A label I wear with pride!

There are four man characters, Oliver O'Toole played by Eric Mabius, Shane McInerney portrayed by Kristin Booth, Norman Dorman by Geoff Gustafson, and Rita Haywith perfectly brought to life by Crystal Lowe.   All of these actors bring these AMAZING characters to life and are the heart and soul of the show.  You will instantly fall in love with the quirkiness and determination of these characters.

It started out as a movie, converted into a weekly series and now it has been converted back into movies again.  I like the movie format because a story can be developed more in two hours rather than being clipped into 60 minutes.

There is a buzz right now because the much anticipated new Valentine movie is premiering on Sunday, February 21st and the coming attractions look amazing!  The premise is "a lost Valentine" - I can only imagine.   I find myself just as excited for this as Star Wars The Force Awakens.... its THAT good!

The series is written by the brilliant Martha Williamson of "Touched By An Angel" fame.  I don't know if there is a better storyteller around right now.  I find myself wondering how her mind works much like I do when I read Harry Potter books over and over and am in awe of JK Rowling.  Just amazingly talented and gifted minds.  I'm so thankful for them both and the joy they've brought to me.

There is an underlying "will they or won't they" story line surrounding the four lead characters.  Shane and Oliver,  known at #Sholiver in the social media universe and Rita and Norman aka #NoRita.   Their love stories are unlike anything else I've seen.  The story lines are so cerebral and sweet it just makes every episode a treasure.

Once you watch, you will want MORE and MORE and MORE.   If you are on Twitter, the hashtag #POstables will lead you to all of the people who love this show as much as you will.  The writer and stars are all on Twitter and Instagram and interact with the fans which is a real treat!

There are two blogs which are also a lot of fun to peruse!  If you are a fan of the Hallmark Channel in general and all of the happy, sappy movies like I am, there is an amazing place called It's A Wonderful Blog!  You will get lost in these pages for hours!  It is my "go to" source for all things Hallmark, Lifetime, etc. especially during the Christmas movie season!

Going that extra mile, there is a blogger who has dedicated herself to a blog about everything Signed, Sealed, Delivered.  She is also on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and I seriously cannot get enough.  She is a superfan and I am thankful for her devotion and insights.  Go and visit her world here at Alameda & Downing.

Every time I recommend this series to someone, it never fails that within a few days I get a tweet, text, email, phone call etc. thanking me and simply gushing about how much they LOVE this series. So, I decided to share it with you.  The Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel is going to reshow some of the movies this weekend leading up to the Sunday night premiere of "From The Heart".  This is a perfect time to get lost in the world of the DLO (Dead Letter Office).  Don't worry, you will pick up the lingo quickly enough.  Give yourself  the gift of watching this show.  You will laugh, you will cry, you will think and you will be inspired.  The perfect way to spend a late winter weekend.  And if you find that you have become a #POstable, come and join our world.  You will be so very glad you did!
