When I look at Centsational Girl or BetterAfter, they probably hit 100 followers the first day, maybe the first HOUR (lol), but for me 100 is a HUGE number! More like Ginormous! 100 is a big deal!
I mean 100 is a BIG number - especially if you are talking 100 dollars.
But if we are talking 100 tennis balls - that is really not a big number. I probably should not admit this but I would have to say that between my house, garage and car, I would bet that I have over 1,000 tennis balls here and there. I can't even imagine what it would feel like to have as many followers as I have optic yellow Wilsons floating around the house - a 1,000 followers? OMG! :-)

But with shoes... the number 100 is AWESOME! I could probably reach this number
if I counted my flip-flops alone. Yikes!
But with a blog and its followers, the number 100 is simply..... PRICELESS!
Thank you SO very much for stopping by and thinking something was worth reading. I haven't been blogging very much recently. It is breast cancer check-up time (which always puts me in a fog for a few days), and I am on a tennis court about 8 hours a day in the hot summer sun (not complaining) and coaching team tennis at night. Needless to say, DIY projects and decorating has taken a back seat. I didn't even put an American Flag for FLAG DAY! How awful is that? And I have a few flowers still in the plastic flats that need to be planted. But summer is young and I will find time to plant those begonias, finish painting my kitchen and blogging for my 100 followers. Yay!
Congratulations! I've been stuck at 99 for a few days and wonder if I will ever hit triple digits!

Thanks for sending me to the triple digits too! Good eye on the Tommy Bahama comforter. It's genuine TB but I got it at a decent price at Steinmart.

Congratulations on making 100, Tracy. I actually thought Google Friends was no longer doing Followers so I haven't been using it.
ReplyDeleteI know how hard it is for us 'little guys' to get followers -- I'm still aiming for 50!

# 103! I had been researching painting my countertops to appear granite/soapstone. Found you on rate my space (hgtv). I'm an avid diy-er/obsessed decorator. Anyhow, that's how I came across your blog. Read-up/researched, & tackled and completed my powder room bath last week as my test-dummy for the 'real thing' (kitchen) project. They turned out amazing! I'm currently working on our master bathroom, and move on to the kitchen after that. Thanks for giving me the courage to try the countertops. :)
ReplyDeleteHello Susan (aka #103) LOL -
ReplyDeleteSo excited to see your results of your countertops. Glad I could help coax you into giving them a shot and that they turned out so well! YAY!
Hey Tracy! I FINALLY took pics of the master bathroom counters, and just uploaded them. Let me know if you can't see them. If you click on my google profile, you should be able to view the pics of the bathroom counters. :) Let me know what you think. I think they are better 'in-person' (by far). The glitter and shine just doesn't quite translate in pics as well. I am moving on to the kitchen next. Though I did 'veining', afterwards I learned a better technique for it, so I can now try my new skill on the kitchen (where it really counts most)!
ReplyDeleteSusan - GORGEOUS! It looks like real marble. You did an awesome job and your bathroom look amazing. Cannot wait to see your kitchen counters. Nicely done. Great pics!
